Snowmaggedon / Snowpocalypse

Before I can even begin to blog about our trip to Colorado, I have to give a shout out to Snowmageddon, or as Jordan dubbed it, the Snowpocalypse.  It deserves to be mentioned before our trip, because, after all, it did delay our trip by several days. 

Snowpocalypse......it snowed....and snowed....and snowed.....

It was huge. Jordan didn't have to go to work for a whole week!  We just hung out inside, getting grungy, watching TV, playing with the baby, and not doing anything productive, like cleaning the house.  Oh, and Jordan got sick.  Then I got sick.  AJ did not get the knock down, drag out cold like we did, but he did get an ear infection (swimmer's ear) that delayed our trip - again.

 We had spent hours and hours shoveling the snow so we could get our cars out.  So did everyone else.  It was like a block party.  We all cursed the snowplows who shoved snow behind our cars so we would have even more work to do.  I would have taken a picture of our neighbor's for sale sign to demonstrate how deep the snow was, but I couldn't find it!
